Write, Write and Write

in my solitude

I try to illustrate

what's on my mind

by writing

produce writing word by word

which can be arranged into sentences

beautiful like a jewel

which can be pacify soul

 sometimes it is hard to writing

because we do not know what we will write

confused with the content of writing

dizzy with words that must be arranged

but, my teacher had said

write down what's on your mind

Do not think about first is good or bad

allow time to improve your writing

so, let us writing

write what you think

in order to trace

later future life

It takes endless pages to write everything I’ve passed. I’m 19 years old now and I grateful for every single day of my life. Every day I write a diary to keep in touch with life, even only in my head. Not so long ago, I wrote:

Dear God, today I’m awake, alive, right here, right now---today. Today I’ll treat my body respectfully. Clean it, protect it. A warm water to bath, healthy food, fasten my belt, wearing a fit shoes… all of this is a small things to do to respect for my body that He gave me---a body He gave a life since I was born, until today.

Today I’m awake, not alone, but even though I’m a unique person (I think because of my height), as a human being, every person is unique. Let me respect human body and treat it like I treat my hand, my face, and my legs. When I treat my body, let me also treat my ‘bigger’ body. As I pour milk to my cereal bowl for breakfast, let me also pour a bowl of greatness for my family, neighbors and my classmate.

Today, God, without hesitation, I felt uncomfortable. Let me, with my willing, my skill, and my ‘knowledge’, not to underestimate a great wisdom from others. Let me change the parasite in my mind with bitterness or desperation into a shining diamond in my world, a diamond that can be proof to others that life and hope can defeat fear and uncertainty.

Today, dear God, let me remind myself to always smile, laugh, singing, dancing, even though my knees are hurt. Remind me to see the doves flying, watch the sunshine, enjoy the rain, listen to dog barking and licking to his food plate. Let me see the rose in the garden, let me entertained by the funny paint on the truck, let me feel grateful for everything.

Cause I live for today, let me enjoy it.

There are many ways to protest, various groups using another of specific objects to handle their voice so that the public will hear their point of view in a case for example.The things considered as a symbol of injustice among others agreed by publics as follows:

Coin’s Prita justice.We knew about the case that occured to Prita mulyasari in 2010 ago.Because of Electronic mail contained of complaint for the service of Omni International Hospital which then spread in the world made hers demanded by attorney and fined to paid 204 millions rupiah.the public at that time voluntary collected the coins for prita for the fine.

 Sometimes it is not just inanimate objects, but also the object of life used as things to protest Corruption who’s doing by Goverment Agencies. The demonstran.invited “Mouse” in public area,street,in front of parliament building etc..All people in the world agreed that “mouse” as a symbol of corruption.

A historian of English, June Swann,once said that the shoes can be an indicator for a feeling of someone. In 2009,Desperate journalist throwed a shoes to the face of United State President Bush,his neme was Muntadhar al Zeidi.He didn’t intend to hurt Bush, he just did because U.S. have been abused Iraq.

Recently in 2011,people at any place in Indonesia voluntery collected hundreds of “sandal” were given to Mabes Polri as a symbol of public untrust to the institutions.Beginning when in November 2010, AAL with hisfriends passed in the street at Palu,center of sulawesi.He walked in front of Brigadier Ahmad Rusdi, AAL saw apairs of sandal in the street.AAL toke the sandal cause he thought that wasn’t belong to. Then,Brigadier Ahmad called AAL and bring the case as a criminal catagory.

Accidentally love Batik ..
Did you remember what happened in October 2009? Yes, on October 2, 2009 United Nations Educational, Scientific , and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)designated Indonesian Batik as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. I remembered in that time all of Indonesian people were happy and they worn Batik in several days. Now, Batik as a fashion it’s really improved. Many kind of patterns and models of batik had changed people mindset. Batik is not only worn by adults but also by teenagers and children. Child who wears batik so cute for me .

I’m sure all of Indonesian people were sad when they heard Batik was claimed by our-neighboring countries. I can’t play angklung, I can’t play wayang, but I can wear Batik . Yeah, I could wear it everywhere I go, and influence my friends to wear it too. It’s just a simple way to protect this heritage from another country’s claim. This is my way, how about you?
