Life is Beauty

Life is Beauty

Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.

Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

They Call it Friendship

They Call it Friendship

Oneday, there lived two great friends in a hamlet. Uni and Uli had been friends since their childhood. Now they were studying in a college, which was at far distance from their place. In the way they had to cross a river, pass hills and sandy area too. They used to go to college together. Their friendship was famous in college.

One rainy day the two friends set out for college as usual. They were chatting while walking. They were discussing some point of human rights theory which was taught on previous day. The two had different opinions. There began heated arguments. This was followed by abusive language by both sides. Things got so bad that in a fit of anger Uni slapped Uli. Shell shocked Uli stared at his friend and wrote on sand that “today my best friend slapped me.”

Both resumed their walk but now they were silent. Meanwhile they reached the river which was overflowing today. Uli was not a good swimmer. He stepped into the river but … began to drown and flow with force of water in the direction of the flood.Uni saw this and without thinking for a second jumped into the river. With difficulty he could drag Uli out of the river. He helped Uli restore his normal breath. When Uli became normal, he wrote on a hill that “today my best friend saved my life.”

Uni who was observing all this could not help asking “why did you write it on sand when I slapped you and why are you writing on the hill when I’ve saved your life?” Uli replied that “we should soon forget wrong done by our friends and dear ones as writing on sand gets erased in no time, but if they do something good for us we should always remember their kindness just as writing on stones is for ever.” Saying this Uli hugged his friends and two went to college as if nothing had happened.

Reason and Passion

Reason and Passion
BY
Khalil Gibran

And the priestess spoke again and said: "Speak to us of Reason and Passion."

And he answered saying:

Your soul is oftentimes a battlefield, upon which your reason and your judgment wage war against passion and your appetite.

Would that I could be the peacemaker in your soul, that I might turn the discord and the rivalry of your elements into oneness and melody.

But how shall I, unless you yourselves be also the peacemakers, nay, the lovers of all your elements?

Your reason and your passion are the rudder and the sails of your seafaring soul.

If either your sails or our rudder be broken, you can but toss and drift, or else be held at a standstill in mid-seas.

For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining; and passion, unattended, is a flame that burns to its own destruction.

Therefore let your soul exalt your reason to the height of passion; that it may sing;

And let it direct your passion with reason, that your passion may live through its own daily resurrection, and like the phoenix rise above its own ashes.

I would have you consider your judgment and your appetite even as you would two loved guests in your house.

Surely you would not honour one guest above the other; for he who is more mindful of one loses the love and the faith of both.

Among the hills, when you sit in the cool shade of the white poplars, sharing the peace and serenity of distant fields and meadows - then let your heart say in silence, "God rests in reason."

And when the storm comes, and the mighty wind shakes the forest, and thunder and lightning proclaim the majesty of the sky, - then let your heart say in awe, "God moves in passion."

And since you are a breath In God's sphere, and a leaf in God's forest, you too should rest in reason and move in passion.

The Expert

The Expert
"Beauty Sports"
From "Limits and Renewals" (1932)

Youth that trafficked long with Death,
And to second life returns,
Squanders little time or breath
On his fellow--man's concerns.
Earned peace is all he asks
To fulfill his broken tasks.

Yet, if he find war at home
(Waspish and importunate),
He hath means to overcome
Any warrior at his gate;
For the past he buried brings
Back unburiable things--

Nights that he lay out to spy,
Whence and when the raid might start;
Or prepared in secrecy
Sudden blows to break its heart--
All the lore of No-Man's Land
Steels his soul and arms his hand.

So, if conflict vex his life
Where he thought all conflict done,
He, resuming ancient strife,
Springs his mine or trains his gun;
And, in mirth more dread than wrath,
Wipes the nuisance from his path!

Life

Life

Life is like a white paper
It starts when you were born
And day by day, you write your own story
Until oneday, it is only a history

You try to make your paper as beutiful as you can
But what you’ll write tomorrow is only a mistery
Learn everything form what you’ve write down
Till no more misery

You might be afraid for what wait you in the end
Cause no one knows where you belong to be
Your place depends to your history
Will you documented, or burn in a fire

You try to erase your bad story in the past
But it still left a scar
You decide to make it better with your future
Until one day, people read you as a good story

-shampoo-

-shampoo-

too many things you ask to me

too much tears rolling down from my eyes

i'm just don't understand what you want from me

Shut up and hear this!

"like the shampoo on your hair

if you make me feel free

i'll sure cover you with fragrance

but,

If for no reason

You make me feel sad

I'll make sure your eyes sting!"

FIND YOUR DESTINY

FIND YOUR DESTINY

Life with the meaningful life
Count step by step
Feel the raising stair
Find your destiny

Our dream will never less
Count the special things
Said, of The God melodies will sing our chees faraway
Among who will stay

After all, looking back..
On pressure let behind
All its dream survive
Open up your mind
Find your destiny
Future shine to bright if you believe...

KARAWANG - BEKASI

KARAWANG - BEKASI

BY CHAIRIL ANWAR

We are now lying between Karawang-Bekasi
Can not shout "Freedom" and take up arms again
But who can no longer hear the roar of us
imagined we go ahead and beating heart?
We spoke to you in silence at  the lonely night
If chest felt hollow and the clock is ticking
We died young. Living bone covered with dust
Recall, recall us

    We've tried what we could
But work has not been completed, there is no meaning
    We have given our souls
This work is has not been completed, could not assess the meaning of 4-5 thousand souls yet
    We were just scattered bones
    But they are yours
You're now determine the value of the scattered bones

Our souls fly for freedom, victory and hope

Or not for nothing
We do not know, we can no longer say
We spoke to you in silence at night lonely
If chest felt hollow and the clock is ticking
Recall, recall us

    Keeping Bung Karno
    Keeping Bung Hatta
    Keeping Bung Syahrir

We now dead
Give us the meaning of
Keep hold on the borderline of the statement and dreams
Recall,  recall us
The remaining bones covered with dust
Thousands of us lying between Karawang-Bekasi

A Dream Within A Dream

A Dream Within A Dream

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

Just a walk

Just a walk

Walk , walk , and walk
Everyday and every chance.
Every shift  need walk
Walk like breath
Walk even without destination
Walk even take long time
Walk even take much energy
Walk even nothing to do
Walk even upset
Walk even you alone
Walk like another walker beside

Just take a walk
Walk beyond your imajination
Walk your step to solve problem ahead
Walk your destiny and journey
And if everything’s perfect
Run…
Run for the glory and happiness
